Competition terms.
The promoter
Competitions on memoraloo.com are operated by VGT Ventures Ltd (the "Promoter"), a company registered in England and Wales, Company No. 17356642, with its registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. Contact: support@memoraloo.com.
Eligibility
Entrants must be 18 or older. Entries are not accepted from jurisdictions listed as restricted on our site (including the United States, the United Arab Emirates and GCC countries). Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families may not enter.
How competitions work
Each competition relates to one prize described on its page. To enter, you must correctly answer the qualifying skill question. Entries submitted with an incorrect answer are not entered into the draw and the entry fee is not refunded. Each entry receives a unique entry number, allocated at random from the competition's fixed number range and visible in your account; the number a ticket carries has no effect on its odds. Entering does not guarantee winning. Each entrant may hold at most 500 entries per competition, counting paid and postal entries together; entries made under multiple names, accounts or addresses to evade this limit will all be declared void.
Free entry route
No purchase is necessary. You may enter for free by post as described on our free entry page. Free postal entries are treated identically to paid entries in the draw — same odds, same entry numbers, same draw. The free route is open to every person eligible to enter the competition, wherever they are. One entry per postcard, posted separately; postcards must be legible and include every detail listed on the free entry page, and must arrive before the competition closes. Incomplete or illegible entries cannot be entered.
Closing and the guaranteed draw date
A competition closes when all of its entries have been allocated or at the draw date published on its page — whichever comes first. If a competition sells out early, the draw is held within 48 hours of selling out and entrants are notified of the exact time. If it does not sell out, it is still drawn on the published date, regardless of how many entries have been sold. Draws are never extended or postponed beyond the published date by the Promoter.
The draw and verification
Winners are selected by our provably fair method: a cryptographic commitment (SHA-256 hash of a secret server seed) is published before entries open, and the seed is revealed after the draw so anyone can recompute the winning entry. See the verification page linked from each competition.
The prize
The winner receives the prize described on the competition page, shipped worldwide at the Promoter's cost, with its certificate of authenticity. Import duties, where applicable, are the winner's responsibility unless stated otherwise. The Promoter may offer (but the winner may not demand) a cash alternative. Winners must complete identity verification before dispatch.
Winner notification
The winner is notified using the contact details given at entry. Entrants are responsible for the accuracy of those details. If the winner cannot be reached within 21 days of first notification by email, phone and WhatsApp (where provided), the Promoter may select an alternate winner using the same publicly verifiable draw method; the alternate winner has 7 days from notification to accept the prize.
Winner announcement
The winning entry number, the winner's first name and their country are published on the site and our social channels alongside the draw verification data. Winner photos and videos are optional — we may invite the winner to share them (and may thank them with bonus entries in a future competition), but accepting the prize never requires it.
Cancellation
If a competition must be cancelled before its draw, every entry fee is refunded in full to the original payment method and free postal entrants are notified. Once entry fees are returned the Promoter has no further liability in respect of that competition. Competitions are never cancelled after the draw has taken place.
Fair play and refunds
Accounts using VPNs or location manipulation to bypass jurisdiction restrictions forfeit their entries. Any form of fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, hacking or interference with the website voids all associated entries without refund. Unspent account credits from deposits are refundable on request. Entry fees for completed entries are non-refundable except where required by law.
General
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. The Promoter's decision on any matter not covered here is final.
