The season
The comeback. Cantona returned from an eight-month ban on 1 October 1995 and scored a penalty against Liverpool the same afternoon. United were ten points behind Newcastle in January and won the league anyway, and on 11 May 1996 he volleyed the only goal of the FA Cup final, against Liverpool again, as captain. The double, in the shirt with the lace collar.
